10 Most Popular Sports in the World - Sport is an activity that aims to train our bodies to be healthy and strong both physically and spiritually. Many of us make sports as a fun hobby, some make it a routine activity to keep their bodies healthy, but many also make sports as a business activity that generates income or make it a work profession.
In the International Olympic sports championships, there are 54 sports that are competed, 39 sports each in the summer and 15 sports in the winter Olympics. The popularity of these sports varies, some have a lot of fans and some have few fans. The popularity of a sport if viewed from the number of fans can be divided into two types, namely the number of spectators and the number of people who play it. In the second position the most popular sport in the world is Cricket or in Indonesian it is called Cricket. Cricket has a fanbase of 2.5 billion people , mostly from British Commonwealth countries such as England, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Zimbabwe. Cricket / Cricket consists of 2 teams of 11 players each.
Hockey or Hockey generally consists of 3 types, namely Field Hockey which plays on the outdoor field, Indoor Hockey which plays on the Indoor field and Ice Hockey which plays on the Ice field. The number of Hockey Fans is estimated at 2 billion people mostly from former British colony countries such as India, Pakistan and Australia.
